Powerplay Cricket Coaching – Giving Every Student the Best Chance of Success in the Cricket Season
Powerplay Cricket Coaching was founded in January 2022 with a simple yet powerful goal: to make high-quality, accessible cricket coaching available to children and adults across our local community.
Founded by Tim Handel, a passionate ECB Level 3 coach with over 20 years of experience, Powerplay started with a clear vision – to offer player-focused coaching that balances fun, structure, and long-term development. What began with just a few 1-to-1 sessions and local group training has since grown into a thriving coaching programme that supports hundreds of players each year.
Today, Powerplay delivers:
- 1-to-1 and small group coaching across all age groups and abilities
- Holiday camps at Parkside School and other leading venues
- Specialist high-performance academies for county and aspiring county players
- Cricket coaching partnerships with schools and clubs across Surrey
- A passionate, professional coaching team – many of whom came through Powerplay as players themselves
